Kolkata Police introduces 'Shining' mobile patrolling vans and 'Pink Booths' to enhance women's safety.

Five 'Shining' vans, operated entirely by women police, will patrol city roads from 8 PM to 2 AM.
•
Five 'Pink Booths' are established at key intersections, staffed by women police from 5 PM to 11 PM.
•
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee named both the 'Shining' vans and the 'Winner' team.
•
Pink Booths offer CCTV access, communication facilities, changing rooms, first-aid, and local information.
