Kolkata Police Seize Firearms Again, Three Arrested in Citywide Raids

•Kolkata Police recovered multiple illegal firearms and cartridges in raids conducted over Thursday and Friday.
•Three individuals, Mohammed Akbar, Amit Dey, and Krishna Kumar Chhetri, were arrested from Beniapukur, Hastings, and Jorasanko areas.
•Separately, Bijoy Chatterjee was apprehended by Baguiati police with a firearm and live ammunition during naka checking in Tata Gate area.
•All arrested individuals face charges under the Arms Act.
•Police are seeking 7-day custody for Bijoy Chatterjee to investigate the source and destination of the weapons.
