Nandigram Shadow: Mamata Warns DMs/SPs Against EVM Manipulation

•Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee warned district magistrates and superintendents of police against EVM manipulation.
•She cited the 2021 Nandigram vote counting controversy as an example during a meeting on the gas crisis.
•Mamata Banerjee lost to Suvendu Adhikari in Nandigram in 2021 and alleged vote counting manipulation, filing a High Court case.
•She stated, "One must be careful with EVMs. There should be no manipulation anywhere like in Nandigram."
•Mamata also instructed DMs to ensure developmental work continues despite election announcements.
