Second Phase of Central Forces Arriving in State Before March 10: 240 Companies Deployed
•240 companies of central forces are set to arrive in the state in the second phase, ahead of March 10.
•The second phase of forces is expected to reach the state by March 7 or 8, according to Election Commission sources.
•Deployment plans for the 240 companies will be finalized within two to three days after a meeting between the Chief Electoral Officer's office and state police.
•The first phase saw 240 companies of CAPF deployed across 35 police districts and commissionerates, with Purba Medinipur receiving the highest at 14 companies.
