Birbhum's Fullara Satipeeth: Ancient Temple Transformed with New Guest House, Park
•Maa Fullara Satipeeth in Labhpur, Birbhum, is one of five Satipeeths, believed to be where Maa Sati's lower lip fell.
•Unique for worshipping a tortoise-shaped stone instead of an idol; originally established by Krishna Nanda Giri, current temple by Yadavlal Bandyopadhyay.
•State government funding new guest house, eight shop rooms for puja items, and two dormitory rooms for sadhus/saints.
•Three yagna sites, an entertainment park for children, and enhanced seating with sheds are being added.
•Extensive beautification work and arrangements for devotees to eat bhog are also underway.
