From Young Bride to Krishi Sakhi: Seema Ede Transforms Balaghat Farming

• Seema Ede, from Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, overcame early marriage and job struggles to become a successful Krishi Sakhi.
• Despite not getting a government job, she pursued education (post-graduation, ITI) with strong family support.
• As a Krishi Sakhi, she now teaches organic farming techniques, having trained over 125 farmers in her region.
• She joined the ATMA Project, forming a self-help group of 14 women to produce organic fertilizer.
• Her initiative led to a Bio Resource Center, selling organic products to farmers in her village and beyond.
