•Ujjain celebrated Mahashivratri with a grand Shiv Barat (Lord Shiva's wedding procession) for Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
•The procession, starting from Nagarkot, featured devotees dressed as Nandi, ghosts, ghouls, and ganas, reflecting scriptural descriptions.
•Elephants, horses, carriages, and a ghost troupe accompanied Mahakal Ji's palanquin, with thousands participating amid DJ music.
•Organized by Raktsen Aarti and Rakta Bhandar for 26 years, the event showcases immense devotee enthusiasm and faith.
•Lord Mahakal, adorned as a groom, rode in a palanquin, followed by a grand reception (Nagar Bhoj) with 56 offerings and thousands of devotees.
