Man Kills Live-in Partner to Avoid Engagement, Dumps Body in River

•A man brutally murdered his live-in partner, Rajina Begum, in Sehore district to escape his upcoming engagement.
•The victim's body was found under the Ambar River bridge near Nandgaon village; police identified her as Rajina Begum, who worked in Hyderabad.
•Accused Nitesh Yadav was in a live-in relationship with Rajina but got engaged to someone else on February 13, 2026, leading to disputes.
•Nitesh, with his brother Sachin, strangled Rajina to death on February 25 and dumped her body from the Ambar River bridge.
•Bhairunda police uncovered the plot, arrested Nitesh Yadav and his accomplice brother Sachin, and registered a Zero FIR.
