MP Cabinet Approves ₹5000 Cr for Amrit Scheme, 2 Irrigation Projects, PM Janman Extension
- •Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, led by CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, approved a ₹5000 crore budget for the Amrit Scheme, focusing on sewage and pipelines.
- •Two irrigation projects, Sultanpur Project and Barnaw Irrigation Scheme (Bareilly), were approved, benefiting Rajgarh district and irrigating over 16,700 hectares.
- •The PM Janman Scheme for tribal communities was extended from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2028, with an outlay of ₹795.45 crore for infrastructure development.
- •Approval was granted for the fourth time-bound pay scale for academic teachers and a 50% tax exemption on vehicle purchases at Gwalior and Ujjain trade fairs.
- •The cabinet also approved ₹10196.42 crore for renovation and upgradation of 88517 km of rural roads from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031.
