MP Gets ₹4400 Crore Highway Boost: Gadkari Inaugurates 8 Projects Today
- •Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to dedicate and lay foundation stone for 8 national highway projects worth over ₹4400 crore in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh.
- •The 181-kilometer-long projects aim to strengthen road connectivity in Central India and Bundelkhand regions, boosting industrial, agricultural, and tourism activities.
- •Key projects include the 4-laning of Abdullaganj–Itarsi section, Bhopal–Vidisha 4-lane highway, and the Sagar Western Bypass.
- •The Abdullaganj–Itarsi section features animal underpasses and sound-proof corridors for wildlife protection in Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary.
- •Gadkari will also lay the foundation stone for 3 modern driving training centers and 5 underpasses on the Bhopal–Byawara section to enhance road safety.
