200 Sheep, Goats Die After Consuming Turmeric Solution in Sehore

•Approximately 150-200 sheep and goats died in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, after consuming a turmeric solution.
•Rajasthani shepherds, camped between Maina and Khamkheda villages, reported the mass deaths.
•Livestock owners stated that animals' health rapidly deteriorated after being given turmeric dissolved in water.
•The turmeric was purchased from the weekly market in Maina village on February 22.
•Owners suspect adulteration or a poisonous substance in the turmeric, estimating losses of Rs 25-30 lakh.
