Rewa's 'Roadman' Fills 1000 Potholes After Administration Fails to Act

• Om Shukla, a farmer from Rewa, earned the title 'Roadman' for repairing the dilapidated Bhathwa-Garh link road.
• Despite holding BSc, ITI, and computer diplomas, Om chose farming and took action when the administration neglected the road.
• He spent his own money to buy soil and gravel, filling approximately 1000 potholes on the dangerous road.
• The road's poor condition, especially after rains, posed risks to students, farmers, and drivers, leading to many near-accidents.
• Om has urged Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla to upgrade the road to a 2-lane route, highlighting its connection to Vindhya region's tourist spots like Purva Falls and Bahuti Falls.
