• Pandhurna SDM Alka Ikka personally drove a JCB to demolish illegal constructions on Varud Marg and Amravati Road in Madhya Pradesh.
• The action targeted illegal colonies built on fertile agricultural land without diversion or legal permission, following long-standing complaints.
• Pradeep Nehre of Sausar was found to have created fake layouts, constructed roads, and erected electricity poles illegally.
• Tehsildar Vinay Prakash Thakur also participated, driving a tractor to seize illegal construction materials.
• SDM Ikka urged citizens to verify RERA registration, diversion, and layout approvals before investing in properties to avoid illegal projects.
