School Principal, Teacher Booked After Students Dance to Pakistani Army Song

• A case has been registered against a school principal and a teacher in Maharashtra after students danced to a Pakistani patriotic song.
• The incident occurred during a cultural program on January 26 at Abdul Ghafoor Shah Nagar Parishad Urdu School No. 2 in Umarkhed, Yavatmal district.
• Students performed to the song "Yeh Mard Yeh Mujahid, Teri Algaar Kya Hai," known in Pakistan for inspiring military zeal.
• BJP leader Gopal Kalane filed a complaint, calling the act seditious and hurtful to public sentiments.
• Headmaster Ansar Ullah Khan Abdul Khan and teacher Mohammad Firoz Asha Ji were booked under Section 196 (1)(c) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023.
