• A domestic dispute in Jogeshwari, Mumbai, escalated when a wife, Saba Qureshi (30), allegedly attacked her husband, Mohammed Rafique Abdul Qureshi (39), with a vegetable knife while intoxicated.
• The incident occurred when Rafique, a plumber, returned home from work and questioned Saba about her daily drinking habit, leading to an argument.
• Saba became enraged, verbally abused Rafique, and then attacked him, causing deep injuries to his right leg and left hand.
• Rafique sought treatment at Trauma Care Hospital in Jogeshwari East before filing a written complaint at Amboli Police Station.
• Amboli Police have registered a case against Saba Qureshi under BNS sections 118(1), 351(2), and 352, and are actively searching for her.
