•Sensex surged 317 points (0.38%) to 82,814.71, Nifty gained 117 points (0.46%) to 25,571.25.
•Hindalco, NTPC, SBI Life, L&T, Coal India were top Nifty gainers; Infosys, Tech Mahindra among losers.
