Agni-3 Missile Test Shakes Bay of Bengal, Puts China & Pakistan on Notice
•India successfully test-fired the Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile (IRBM) 'Agni-3' off the coast of Odisha on February 6.
•The test sent a strong message to China and Pakistan, demonstrating India's capability to strike deep within their territories.
•Developed by DRDO, Agni-3 has a maximum range of 3,500 km, bringing major Chinese cities like Beijing and Shanghai, and all of Pakistan, within its strike range.
•The two-stage solid-fueled missile can carry a 1.5-ton nuclear or conventional warhead and flies at Mach 7-8.
•All operational and technical parameters were 100% accurate during the launch from Chandipur, Odisha.
