Amrit Bharat Trains to Offer Vande Bharat-like Food Booking, Cheaper & Quality Assured

• Amrit Bharat trains will now offer pre-booked food services, similar to Vande Bharat trains, eliminating the need for passengers to carry their own meals.
• The food service will be cheaper than Vande Bharat but maintain high quality, with IRCTC launching it as a trial.
• The facility is first being introduced on Train Numbers 19623 and 19624 (Madar Junction to Darbhanga Amrit Bharat), allowing food booking along with tickets.
• The Amrit Bharat Express scheme, launched in December 2024, currently operates 30 non-AC sleeper class trains with affordable fares and no dynamic pricing.
• These trains include modern amenities like foldable snack tables, mobile holders, accessible bathrooms, fire safety, fast charging, and pantry cars.
