•Decision aims to remove 'corrupt' All India Trinamool Congress government and prevent 'fascist' BJP-RSS alliance from power.
•Alliance also seeks to revive left-wing forces in West Bengal, following talks with Left Front Chairman Biman Bose and CPI(M) leadership.
•In 2021, CPI-ML contested alone and criticized CPI(M) for treating TMC and BJP as equally opposing forces.
•Indian National Congress ended its seat-sharing with Left Front; Left Front released 192 candidate list and allied with All India Secular Front.
