• Northern Railway to install electronic interlocking at 34 stations (421.41 crore rupees) for safer, faster train operations with KAVACH system.
• Punjab's Rajpura bypass line (411.96 crore rupees) will reduce congestion on Ambala-Jalandhar section, speeding up freight movement.
