• Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched three Amrit Bharat Express trains, including one connecting Kochuveli (Kerala) and Cherlapally (Hyderabad).
• The Kochuveli-Cherlapally train (17041/17042) is a weekly service covering 1546 km in about 31.5 hours, with regular services starting January 27.
• Key stops in Telangana include Cherlapally, Nalgonda, and Miryalaguda; in Andhra Pradesh, it stops at Sattenapalli, Guntur Junction, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, and Gudur.
• The train features push-pull technology for quick acceleration/deceleration, semi-permanent couplers for a jerk-free ride, and improved non-AC coaches with amenities like LED lights and mobile charging points.
• Ticket prices are approximately Rs. 339 for General Unreserved, with Sleeper Class fares expected to be around Rs. 600-700; bookings will open soon.
