Kavach Technology Successfully Tested on Northern Railway's Crucial Delhi-Palwal Section

• Northern Railway successfully tested the indigenously developed Kavach (Automatic Train Protection System) on the 35 km Tughlakabad Junction Cabin (Delhi area) and Palwal section.
• General Manager Shri Ashok Kumar Verma oversaw five critical tests: Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD), Head-on Collision, Rear-end Collision, Over-speeding on Loop Line, and Level Crossing Protection.
• Kavach automatically stopped trains before red signals, prevented collisions, controlled over-speeding, and ensured safety at level crossings.
• The system significantly enhances safety on one of Indian Railways' busiest corridors, improving operational safety, reliability, and passenger confidence.
• Developed under Atmanirbhar Bharat, Kavach meets global SIL-4 safety standards, reduces reliance on imported technology, and promotes the Indian signaling industry.
