• Chopra, wanted in the Ferozepur triple murder (August 2024) and multiple drug trafficking cases, was apprehended at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
• The newly established Overseas Fugitive Tracking and Extradition Cell (OFTEC) played a crucial role in tracking Chopra, for whom a Red Notice and LOC were issued.
• He was the main conspirator in the Ferozepur triple murder, where Dildeep Singh, a young girl, and another person were killed due to rivalry.
• Chopra's arrest significantly weakens the cross-border drug trafficking network from Pakistan to Punjab, particularly in Ferozepur and border districts.
