Leopard Attacks 12-Year-Old in Pali, Child Survives After Falling into Ditch

• A 12-year-old boy, Prakash, was attacked by a leopard while grazing goats in the Nana police station area of Pali.
• The leopard ambushed Prakash from behind a hill, striking him and causing him to fall into a 12-foot deep ditch.
• Prakash sustained injuries to his face and near his eye but was saved by his screams and the timely arrival of villagers.
• The child is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sirohi and is reported to be out of danger.
• The Forest Department team is searching for the leopard, and surveillance in the area has been increased.
