Rajasthan BJP MLA Demands 27,000 Honorarium for Vedic Teachers
•BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya from Hawa Mahal constituency demanded an increase in honorarium for Vedic teachers in Rajasthan.
•He highlighted that Vedic education is the fundamental basis of India's Sanatan knowledge tradition.
•Vedic teachers in Rajasthan's ideal Vedic schools receive only 15,000 rupees, significantly lower than the 27,500-38,500 rupees in Government of India-operated schools and over 60,000 rupees in national Vedic schools.
•Acharya urged for an increase to 22,000-27,000 rupees, aligning with central government standards.
•He also advocated for sports training, spoken English, astrology, Vastu Shastra, music, and computer education for gurukul students.
