Rajasthan Goes Digital: Handwritten Post-Mortem Reports Banned from Feb 1st
- •Rajasthan government to implement a new online system for post-mortem (PMR) and medical legal case (MLC) reports from February 1, 2026.
- •The move aims to digitize police and government departments, enhancing transparency and eliminating human errors or manipulation.
- •All MLC and PMR procedures will now be completed using MedLEaPR Software and CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems) as per Rajasthan High Court orders.
- •Handwritten reports will not be accepted after February 1st; police stations and government hospitals are already connected to the online system.
- •Officers, including SHO, IO, SP, DCP, and Commissioner, will face personal accountability if online procedures are not followed, ensuring strict compliance.
