•Udaipur's Mandwa police station SHO Nirmal Kumar Khatri and Constable Bhallaram Patel arrested by ACB for accepting an 8 lakh rupee bribe.
•The bribe was demanded in an NDPS Act case to avoid implicating other family members of four accused.
•Initially, a 20 lakh rupee deal was struck (5 lakh per accused), later settled for 8 lakh rupees.
•ACB laid a trap after verifying the complaint, catching the SHO and constable red-handed at the police station.
•Investigation revealed Mandwa SHO was not even the investigating officer for the NDPS case, which was assigned to Bekariya SHO.
