Rajasthan's ₹700 Cr Scheme to Revive Barren Fields, Curb Factory Pollution in Pali

•Rajasthan government approves ₹700-1000 crore scheme to tackle toxic factory water pollution in Pali and Balotra.
•Treated industrial wastewater will be piped 100-120 km from Pali/Balotra to Pachpadra refinery in Barmer.
•The project aims to stop pollution of Bandi and Jojri rivers, restoring fertility to farmers' land and improving groundwater.
•Pachpadra refinery will receive 40 MLD of treated water, providing an alternative industrial water source and aiding environmental balance.
•The scheme, advocated by leaders like Joraram Kumawat, brings hope to Marwar farmers, with DPR preparation underway.
