Rajasthan's ₹700 Cr Scheme to Revive Barren Fields, Curb Factory Pollution in Pali

Rajasthan government approves ₹700-1000 crore scheme to tackle toxic factory water pollution in Pali and Balotra.

Treated industrial wastewater will be piped 100-120 km from Pali/Balotra to Pachpadra refinery in Barmer.
•
The project aims to stop pollution of Bandi and Jojri rivers, restoring fertility to farmers' land and improving groundwater.
•
Pachpadra refinery will receive 40 MLD of treated water, providing an alternative industrial water source and aiding environmental balance.
•
The scheme, advocated by leaders like Joraram Kumawat, brings hope to Marwar farmers, with DPR preparation underway.
