Vikram Bhatt Released on Bail: "Jail is the Fifth Pilgrimage Site," Says Filmmaker

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt released on bail from Udaipur Central Jail after two and a half months.
•
Bhatt stated, "I am a devotee of Shri Krishna, jail is the fifth pilgrimage site," comparing his time to Krishna's birthplace.

He expressed full confidence in the legal system and the triumph of truth, citing a friend's wisdom about Mewar's soil.
•
Bhatt's lawyer confirmed the Supreme Court has summoned both parties on the 27th, aiming for mediation.

Bhatt and his wife were arrested in December 2025 in a Rs 30 crore fraud case filed by Ajay Murdia of Indira IVF, related to a film agreement.
