• Last September, 9 minors and several young women were rescued in Barotola, leading to the identification of the arrested individuals.
• RPF/ER, under 'Operation Aahat' and 'Operation Nanhe Farishte', thwarted a separate trafficking attempt.
• RPF Sealdah Division rescued a minor girl from Kolkata Railway Station, arresting two traffickers bound for Gorakhpur.
