Fake Baba Busted: Looted Rs 1 Crore Promising Gold, 7 Arrested in Adilabad

• The gang staged elaborate dramas, burying fake gold coins purchased online in victims' homes and presenting them as unearthed treasures.
• Victims were instructed to worship the 'treasure' for 41 days, threatened with dire consequences if touched prematurely, while the gang fled with money.
• Police seized a car, bike, mobile phones, fake gold coins, and puja materials; 12 cases were already registered against the gang, defrauding 26 victims of Rs 1.03 crore.
