•The victim was added to a group named '661 Barclays Stock Strategy Team' without consent, where members shared fake profit screenshots.
•After investing Rs 10.83 lakh, the app showed a profit of Rs 1.24 crore, but criminals demanded an additional Rs 11 lakh as 'service charges' for withdrawal.
•Realizing the scam, the victim filed a complaint with Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police.
•Police warn against trusting unknown investment groups and apps not recognized by SEBI, urging victims to report fraud immediately to 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.
