Hyderabad Task Force busted a large-scale adulteration gang making ginger-garlic paste with harmful chemicals.
•
Rotten ginger-garlic, acetic acid for pungent smell, and Xanthan Gum Powder for thickness were used.
•
Mastermind Neela Venkateswarlu operated 'Jhansy Industry' in Lalapet, selling products with fake labels.
•
Police seized 1915 kg of adulterated mixture and arrested Venkateswarlu and three employees.
•
Doctors warn against consuming such products, advising homemade paste and checking FSSAI certification.
