Kakatiya Soil to Host Space Event: Rudrama V.01 Rocket Launch from Hanumakonda

• A model rocket, Rudrama V.01, will be launched from Hanumakonda on February 28th to commemorate National Science Day.
• The four-foot-long rocket, named after Rani Rudrama Devi, will ascend to 3,000 feet and return via parachute, recording its journey.
• ISRO Space Tutor Shashank Bhupathi and ATDRL Space Research Lab are leading the project, with support from NIT Warangal and KUDA.
• The initiative aims to foster scientific temper among students and inspire youth towards space research.
• An awareness session, star gazing, and solar/lunar observation events are also part of the 'Explora 2026' Space STEM program.
