•The couple, working in Saudi Arabia, wanted to invest their savings in properties in India.
•The accused collected Rs 1.05 crore for two flats but kept delaying registration with various excuses.
•Upon investigation, the couple discovered the accused had no connection to the properties, leading them to file a police complaint.
