Telangana Pensioners, Employees Get 3.64% DR Hike; Arrears from July 2023

• Telangana government increased Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners from 30.03% to 33.67%, a 3.64% hike.
• The new DR is effective retrospectively from July 1, 2023, covering 30 months of arrears.
• Arrears from July 2023 to December 2025 will be paid with the January 2026 pension, credited by February 1st.
• Approximately 7 lakh pensioner families and government employees will benefit from this decision.
