Tiger Panic in Telangana: Livestock Deaths, Villagers Tremble as Big Cats Roam Near Homes

•Tigers are increasingly venturing into human settlements in Jagtial and Siddipet districts of Telangana, causing widespread fear.
•A tiger was sighted near Mothkur Raopeta village in Jagtial, with paw prints confirming its presence.
•In Siddipet, a 4-5 year old tiger is attacking and killing livestock and calves in Koheda and Chinnakodur mandals.
•Forest and Police departments are issuing public announcements, advising villagers to go to fields in groups and avoid night travel.
•Decreasing forest cover and lack of natural food are cited as reasons for tigers entering villages; CC cameras and trap cages are being deployed.
