Bengaluru Techie Fires Cook After 'AI Roommate' Catches Her Stealing, Shirking Work

A Bengaluru techie used an 'AI roommate' bot with a camera to monitor his cook's activities for two weeks.

The AI bot caught the cook stealing fruits, preparing food with unwashed hands, and not cleaning properly.
•
The techie, Tanwar, paid the cook Rs 4,800 a month and had previously confronted her about taking items without permission.

After the AI provided evidence of repeated theft and poor hygiene, Tanwar fired the cook.
•
This is not Tanwar's first viral AI project; he previously developed an AI-powered traffic-monitoring helmet.
