Amethi to get first high-tech day-care cancer center, ending Lucknow referrals

• The center, located at the Government Medical College in Tiloi Tehsil, will offer high-tech cancer treatment, including chemotherapy, and will have 20 beds for admitted patients.
• Currently, only breast and oral cancer screenings are available at 196 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, with confirmed cases referred to Lucknow.
• CMO Dr. Anshuman Singh stated the center will use modern methods, store patient data digitally, and connect with experts via telemedicine.
• Ayushman Card holders will receive cashless (free) treatment on a priority basis, with robust arrangements for medicine availability.
