Ayodhya Temple Plotter Abdul Rahman Murdered in Faridabad Jail

• Suspected terrorist Abdul Rahman, who plotted to blow up the Ayodhya Ram Temple, was murdered in Faridabad Jail.
• Fellow inmate Arun Chaudhary killed Rahman by attacking his head with a stone.
• Rahman, an e-rickshaw driver from Ayodhya, was radicalized by ISIS and Taliban videos, and received instructions from a Pakistan-registered Telegram ID.
• He was arrested in March 2023 by Haryana STF and Gujarat ATS with live hand grenades and a detonator, confessing his target was the Ram Temple.
• Security agencies had been monitoring Rahman since 2023 after he was incited for jihad by individuals identifying as ISIS's Khorasan module.
