• It will benefit Azamgarh, Mau, and Ballia districts, reducing the need for patient referrals to Varanasi or Lucknow.
• The 500-bed hospital currently lacks specialist facilities like neurosurgery, which the trauma center will now provide.
• Chief Medical Superintendent Satish Chandra Kanojia states it will offer immediate specialist care, saving lives and reducing treatment delays.
