Ghaziabad's Hindon Road to Get High-Tech Water Mist Sprays on Poles, ₹2 Cr Budget Approved

Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation approves ₹2 crore budget for high-tech water mist sprays on electricity poles along Hindon Airport Road.

The system aims to combat air pollution by settling dust particles with fine mists, improving Air Quality Index (AQI).
•
Sculpture art pieces will adorn electricity poles, from which water mists will emerge, enhancing city aesthetics.
•
The project, expanded after a successful trial on Hapur Road, will cover Hindon Airport to Nagdwar and Hindon to Sikandarpur.
•
Benefits include temperature reduction, maintained humidity, and improved air quality by tackling PM 10 and PM 2.5.
