Kanpur's 13-year-old students create AI robot 'Anushka', salutes Navy Chief with "Jai Hind"
- •Shaurya and Anag, 13-year-old students from Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre, Kanpur, developed an AI robot named 'Anushka' under the guidance of their robotics teacher, Akhilesh Kumar.
- •The robot 'Anushka' saluted and said "Jai Hind" to Navy Chief Dinesh K. Tripathi, astonishing everyone present.
- •Inspired by the human robot 'Sophia', the students spent two years and approximately one lakh rupees to develop 'Anushka', overcoming numerous experiments and mistakes.
- •'Anushka' can answer general knowledge questions, operate for 5-8 hours on a 3-hour charge, and lift light objects; students are now working on improving its mobility for uneven paths.
- •The creators believe AI is an opportunity, not a threat, and aspire for 'Anushka' to assist soldiers in the defense sector, bringing pride to their families.
