Purvanchal Expressway Tragedy: 5 Dead, 16 Injured in Bus Accident

•A double-decker bus traveling from Ludhiana to Darbhanga met with a major accident on the Purvanchal Expressway.
•The accident, possibly due to the driver falling asleep, occurred at the 11.4 km mark in Lucknow's Kamamla area.
•Five people, including one woman, one man, and three children, died in the tragic incident.
•Sixteen people were seriously injured and admitted to PGI Trauma Center and KGMU; several are in critical condition.
•Police responded swiftly, rescuing trapped passengers and facilitating their immediate hospitalization.
