Superfast Status Removed for 5 Trains at DDU Junction: Fares Down, Numbers Change
•
Five trains, including Vibhuti Express and Netaji Express, will lose their superfast status from April.
•
These trains will be reclassified as ordinary Express trains, leading to reduced fares and new train numbers.
•
The change will be implemented between April 13 and 16, affecting trains passing through DDU Junction.
•
Passengers had long demanded this change due to high fares despite similar travel times to ordinary Express trains.
•
Additional superfast charges (e.g., Rs 30 for Sleeper, Rs 45 for AC) will no longer apply, benefiting passengers.
