• The Chardham Yatra 2026 will commence on April 22, with Kedarnath's doors officially opening at 8 AM on the same day.
• Kedarnath Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, is located in Rudraprayag district at 11,968 feet.
• During winter, the temple doors close due to heavy snowfall, and Lord Shiva's palanquin is moved to Ukhimath.
• Last year, millions of devotees visited Kedarnath, and this year, people can again have darshan of Baba.
