Chamoli Tunnel Collision: Two Trains Crash, 10-12 Laborers Injured at THDC Project

• Two loco trains collided inside the main tunnel of the THDC hydroelectric project in Pipalkoti, Chamoli district.
• The accident occurred about 2.5 kilometers inside the TBM site tunnel on Tuesday night.
• Around 10 to 12 laborers were injured, with 5 to 6 sustaining serious injuries.
• Injured individuals were rushed to District Hospital Gopeshwar; Chamoli DM Gaurav Kumar and SP visited.
• The collision happened during a shift change at 8 PM, with laborers on board the trains.
