7-Year-Old Killed, Mother & Child Injured in Samsherganj Road Accident

• A tragic road accident at Akura More, NH 12, Samsherganj, resulted in the death of a 7-year-old child.
• The deceased child was identified as Imtiaz Ahmed alias Rihan; his mother Poli Khatun and brother Riyaz Sheikh were seriously injured.
• The family was crossing the national highway when a speeding four-wheeler hit them after they passed a stopped bus.
• Locals rushed the victims to a private hospital where Imtiaz was declared dead; the mother and other child were referred to Baharampur Hospital.
• Samsherganj Police are investigating, reviewing CCTV footage to identify the hit-and-run vehicle and driver.
