Abhishek-backed Samim Ahmed: New Face in Trinamool's Heavyweight List

Samim Ahmed, a 35-year-old close to Abhishek, makes his debut as a Trinamool candidate in Magrahat Paschim.
•
He replaces three-time MLA and former minister Giasuddin Molla, who faced party infighting and controversy.
•
Ahmed previously served as an observer for Diamond Harbour and coordinator for multiple assembly constituencies.
•
Trinamool has also changed candidates in four other constituencies: Raidighi, Kulpi, Magrahat Purba, and Falta.
•
Notable changes include Barnali Dhara replacing Jogaranjan Halder in Kulpi and Tapas Mondal for Alok Jaldhata in Raidighi.
