Bargabhima Temple: Renovation Begins on Dilapidated Natmandir for Devotees

• Renovation work has started on the traditional Devi Bargabhima Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths in Tamluk, Purba Medinipur.
• Devi Bargabhima is the principal deity of Purba Medinipur district and Tamluk, with the temple built by King Tamradhwaj.
• The old Natmandir, which was 150 years old and in a dilapidated state for 25-30 years, has been demolished.
• A new Natmandir is being constructed at an estimated cost of 15 lakh rupees and is expected to be completed within three months.
• Temple authorities are ensuring devotees can offer prayers without hindrance during the construction period.
